Local Pack

Google Local Pack is a group of three local business listings that appears in response to search queries for products or services provided by local businesses. Unlike organic search results which are taken from Google's index of websites, the listings in Local Packs originate from the Google My Business directory. The Local Pack also includes a map of the relevant area and a link to "More Places" which opens up the Google Local Finder (the complete list of local businesses). Some of the known ranking factors for the Local Pack include the relevance of the business to the query (determined by its Google My Business listing and website), the distance to the business from the person searching, and the prominence of the business (based on mentions on third-party review sites, links to the business' website, listings in local directories and Google reviews).
