Google Analytics Geo Location Widget



The Google Analytics Geo Location widget presents audience location in map and bar chart format based on the Analytics key metric and filters selected.

This widget features a variety of color options and can be added to white label Marketing DashboardsClient Dashboards and PDF Reports. In marketing dashboards you can set it to display at half or full page width. You can view a marketing dashboard sample that contains this and additional widgets (password is demo).

Important! To view this report, Google Analytics must be configured correctly (please refer to our Google Analytics documentation).

Google Analytics Geo Location Metrics

Choose an Analytics key metric: Sessions, Page Views, Bounce Rate, Users, New Users, % New Users, Pages per Session, or Goal Completions to display in the map and bar chart.  Hover over any country to view the traffic number corresponding to the selected metric.

Choose from a variety of colors available in our palette or enter a hex color code to match logos or website themes.

  • Select a date range

  • Enter a Widget Title to be displayed above the widget (optional)
  • Color: select the graph line color (optional), see additional instructions below
  • Map: display or hide the map
  • Chart: display or hide the bar chart that lists the top country statistics
  • Width: set the width of the trend chart (default is 480). When added to a marketing dashboard, this will automatically adjust to fit a half-width element (if selected)

  • Click the Color block to launch the color palette and select a base color for the map and chart, or enter a hex color code.

Analytics Settings

 
  • Select a Key Metric: Sessions, Page Views, Bounce Rate, Users, New Users, % New Users, Pages per Session, or Goal Completions
  • Select a Conversion Filter (default is All Sessions)
  • Select a Segment (optional)
  • Select a Search Type: All, Organic, Paid, Organic & Paid, Exclude Organic, or Exclude Paid
Click the Apply Changes button.
