How it works?
When a customer clicks on an affiliate link, a cookie is set on the visitor's browser that identifies the affiliate, and the specific link and payment rates. When the visitor makes an actual purchase online or enters into a trial period, that transaction is tracked and recorded by Rank Ranger and displays in reports within your affiliate interface.

Does my website qualify to be a RankRanger.com Affiliate?
Most sites with content relating to products or services offered at RankRanger.com will qualify for the affiliate program. However, we reserve the right to deny sites that we feel are inappropriate, including those that host sexually explicit material, promote violence and/or discrimination, illegal activities, etc.

How long does a visitor have to become a Subscriber after clicking on my affiliate link?
A visitor has 60 days to complete their purchase in order for you to qualify to receive commission. If the visitor clicks on another affiliate or tracking link during this time, the new link will be ignored and your cookie will still be valid for this visitor.

How much can I earn as an affiliate?
You earn money for each person you direct to our website using your affiliate link who becomes a paid subscriber. Some customers upgrade to larger packages after their first or second month and because we want to reward you for leading these customers to Rank Ranger, you will receive a commission equal to 20% for every paid subscription for each customer who makes a purchase within 60 days of clicking on your affiliate link. The commission is recurring until the paid subscription is cancelled.

For example, a customer clicks your link and signs up for our 14-day free trial, and at the end of that trial s/he purchases a:

• $79 per month package and pays $79 per month for 3 months, then you will have earned $47.4 in commissions (20% of $79 time 3 month).
• $79 per month package and pays $79 for 2 months and then upgrades to a $119 package for the 3rd month, then you will have earned $55.4 in commissions.
• $199 per month package and pays for 1 month and then downgrades to a $79 package for the 2nd and 3rd months, then you will have earned $71.4 in commissions.

What about customer non-payment, cancellations or refunds?
The Affiliate commissions will not be paid in case the referred subscriber payment fails to process repeatedly, or the referred subscriber doesn’t have a real business need for our software but signed up in order to obtain research data during the free trial period and forgot to cancel before their PayPal account was charged.

How and when will I be paid?
Commissions are paid via PayPal, therefore, you must have a valid PayPal account (and provide that email address when you register) in order to receive payment.

Payment will be made in U.S. Dollars only.

Payments for qualifying commissions are processed monthly until the 10th of the month for the previous month.

For example, the November commissions will be processed in December until the 10th of the month.

How can I promote on my site?
You can promote Rank Ranger by using any of the banners/text links provided in our Promotion Tools section of the Rank Ranger Affiliate User Interface. When you select a banner/text link, we automatically attach your Affiliate ID so that we can effectively track each person you send to us.
You can use banners around your website, as well as in your customer emails, confirmations and newsletters. You can also write a review of Rank Ranger and include your affiliate text link and/or a banner ad within it.

Do I need to have any technical skills?
Affiliates must be able to copy HTML code and place it accurately within the code of a web page.

Rank Ranger offers free Affiliate reports for you to track your leads and sales.

How do I get my affiliate link?
Simply log into your affiliate account and follow these steps:
 
1. Choose the ad you want to use from the available Promotions Tools.
2. Click on the "Source Code" for your chosen ad.
3. Copy the provided HTML.
4. Place the code into the web page where you want the ad to appear.

Can I bid on Rank Ranger trademarked terms in PPC advertising?
No, you may not. RankRanger.com does not allow the use of trademark bidding or URL bidding.
